wow this is so cool! i modeled all these cars except for the lotus when i worked at papyrus (i didn't do the 2D textures as we had some talented 8bit 2d artists for that)... it took ages since we were using bsp trees. we had to use them because gpus were just recently introduced them.

I truly admired GPL when it came out. My old PC with a crap steering wheel and a couple of funny pedals. It was so realistic compared to anything else on the market in those days. And it was so hard to drive! I used to tell our sons how much I adored GPL. Then they grew up and played F1 2012, 2013....and so on. Nowadays they play Assetto Corsa. Our youngest son, who is 18 years old, just joined me to watch your video. He was blown away by your driving skills. He is an excellent sim driver and knows the Nordschleife by heart. He said "wow, that's like Assetto Corsa 25 years ago!" Kudos to you by me and my racing driver son! Thanks for this "time machine" experience.

I use this one as part of my Can Am mod championship season. It's good alternative to Mosport or St Jovite if you like those kinds of "hilly" tracks.

I play this track with the Can Am 66 mod because I'm a masochist.

This track had a surreal look and feel to it. The graphics are a bit more basic than some other mods so they look a bit like a Tintin comic. You're driving in a Tintin comic!
